Disinfecting Department
3,480 rooms and 4,060 articles of bedding were disinfected during
the year, among them being the rooms and articles used by the
486 cases of various forms of infectious disease taken to hospital;
307 certificates of disinfection were issued, and 85 library books
dealt with from the 4,800 premises visited during the year. The
clean van was used regularly for the delivery of scores to the day
nurseries and sometimes to the Welfare Centres.
