When the Cornwall Hostel was closed, as a voluntary Institution,
and pending its being re-opened as part of the St. Thomas's Hospital
administration, negotiations were commenced with the Belgrave
Hospital for Children to receive, as in-patients, as might be required,
ailing Lambeth infants and children recommended by Welfare Centres
through their respective medical officers. Other Hospitals within the
Borough and outside the Borough at present deal also with similar
cases, or will do so in the future, as well as St. Thomas's Hospital.
