RECOMMENDATIONS FOR SPECIAL SCHOOLING
After special medical examinations, the examining medical officers recommended that some children be
admitted to special schools which it was felt would be more suitable for them than ordinary schools
Hospital reports, etc. were often taken into account and recommendations were vetted by the Deputy
Principal School Medical Officer before being passed to the Education Officer's Department.
