Tuberculosis
The number of deaths from Tuberculosis of the lungs fell fran 13 in 1962 to 8 in
1963, the lowest total on record. New cases amongst females rose by 40% and comprised
an increase in all the age groups from 5 to 45 years inclusive. In males, there was a
14% fall over the previous year, with the decrease in all the age groups from 15 years
upwards,

Public Health (Tuberculosis) Regulations. 1952
Although information in regard to the coming and going of tuberculous patients
under these Regulations is not as complete as it ns under the Tuberculosis Regulations,
1930, every effort is made to confirm the correctness of the Register still maintained
in the Department. The total number of cases on the Register of the Department as at
