London (Measles and Whooping Cough) Regulations, 1938.
Home visiting of measles and whooping cough cases was carried out by the
Home Visitors as under :—

Acute Poliomyelitis and Polioencephalitis
There were rather more confirmed cases in 1952 as compared with the previous
year, but fortunately there were considerably fewer than in some recent years—
as shown in the table below. None of the cases of poliomyelitis during the year
had fatal results. It will be noted that the majority of the cases commenced in
August.
