Unsound Food. The total amount of food condemned during the year was:— 64 tons, 1 cwt., 1 qr., 11 lbs. details of which are given in the following table:—

Most of the above food was condemned upon request by the respective owners
Sampling.
861 samples (254 formal, 607 informal) were submitted to the Public Analyst
for examination. Of these 26 (or 3 per cent.) were adulterated as shown in the
