INSPECTION AND SUPERVISION OF FOOD
Food and Drugs Act, 1938.
Action was taken in 6 cases under the Food & Drugs Act, 1938 in connection
with foreign substances found in bread. In one case the substance was a piece of
brick, and in others, a portion of cigarette ; a roll of tobacco ; a quantity of dirt;
and a piece of rope.
Action was also taken in respect of a glass of pickles which contained a quantity
of wire.
