SLAUGHTERMEN'S LICENCES.
3 new applications for licences were received, and granted after investigations,
making a total of 21+ licensed slaughtermen on the register at the end of the year.
FOOD & DRUGS ACT, 1958.
826 samples (246 formal, 580 informal), were submitted to the Public Analyst
for examination. Of these 17 were adulterated (or 2.06 per cent.), as shown in
the following summary:-

PUBLIC HEALTH (TUBERCULOSIS) REGULATIONS 1950.
The total number of cases of tuberculosis on the Register as at 31st December,
1941 was:-
1,493 (Pulmonary - Males 730, Females 522; Non-pulmonary - Males 120,
Females 121.)
