INSPECTION AND EXAMINATION OF FOOD AND PLACES WHERE
FOOD IS PREPARED.
Slaughter Houses.—The Inspector of Meat (Mr. A. W. Haydock) reports that
during the year 1937, 7 private slaughterhouses for local supplies and 1 slaughterhouse
for the slaughter of horses for export, held licences. The visits to these premises
numbered 305, and the following is a statement of the number of animals slaughtered
in them.
