The Ward continues to play an important part in the medical and nutritional
aspect of the work.
Special efforts have been made to stimulate interest in other branches of
craft by encouraging attendance at the weekly classes for teaching and practical
demonstration. These classes have been well attended.
Arrangements have been made for the supply of wool, knitting patterns and—in
necessitous cases—hand-knitted vests, to improve the standard of clothing amongst
the children.
