TUBERCULOSIS.
Tuberculosis caused 312 deaths, which were 4(5 below the average of the
last decennium, and were 4 above the number registered in 1932. The deathrate
resulting from them was equal to 0.98 per 1,000 of the civil population, and
represented 7.9 per cent. of the deaths from all causes during the year.

There was a decrease of 37 on the ten years average number of deaths, and of 0.08 on the mean death-rate.
