Convalescent treatment : Various holiday funds helped the Centre and 19
mothers and 25 children had arrangements made for convalescent holidays.

REPORT ON THE WORK OF THE DAY NURSERIES RECEIVING GRANTS FROM THE BOROUGH COUNCIL.

There are three Day Nurseries in the Borough.

Further particulars regarding- the Day Nurseries, hours, etc., were referred
to in last year's report.
The "Guest House," in connection with St. Luke's Day Nursery, was opened
in March. Its accommodation for twelve (and two extra in an emergency) has
been fully taken up, and the demand for admission has been such that the question
of extension may have to be seriously considered in the near future.
