I herewith append a detailed description of the houses and their appurtenances.
Your obedient Servant,

Medical Officer of Health,
Metropolitan Borough of Islington.
At the beginning of September the Medical Officer of Health was able further
to report that the Closing Orders made by the Borough Council on the 16th May,
1930, had been complied with. All the premises were demolished by the owner.
RE-CONDITIONING OF HOUSES.
Notices were served under section 17 of the Housing Act of 1930 in respect of
a dwelling house in Caledonian Road. As the Council was satisfied that the house
mentioned was occupied or was of a type suitable for occupation by persons of the
working classes and was unfit for human habitation, notices were served on the
owner of the property in respect of the particulars, which were set out in a separate
schedule. This notice involved the sending out of four other similar notices to
interested parties according to the requirements of the Act. The work was not
completed at the close of the year, and falls to be reported on finally later.
