as regards the arrangements which are proposed to be made with the consent of
the parents or guardians.
No additional children under five years of age have come under our supervision
during the year 1930. One of those noted last year has reached the age of
5 and now attends school.
TUBERCULOSIS.
590 cases of Tuberculosis in its different forms were notified during the year.
The attack.rate was equal to 1.84 per 1,000 of the civil population. This number
was a decrease of 26 on the return of the previous year, and of 0.09 per 1,000 on
the attack.rate
Respiratory (Pulmonary) Tuberculosis..494 notifications were
received, of which 253 referred to males and 241 to females, and represented an
attack.rate of 1.54 per 1,000 inhabitants.
