INVALID CHILDREN'S AID ASSOCIATION.
This Association still pursues its course of bringing relief in affliction to some
of the most needy of little Islingtonians stricken with distorted limbs and impaired
health.
The contribution of £25, which the Borough Council gives to the Local Branch
of this Association, cannot be looked upon as the measure of the good afforded by
the services rendered.
A better means of gauging this is to be found in the numbers assisted during
the year ended December 31st, 1930—62 Islington children, under 5 years of age,

sea, while 20 children, of similar ages, were given some alleviation as handicapped
cripples by the provision of leg irons, splints, special boots, etc.

states, are referred to them for supervision and visiting, etc., no one can gainsay
that, for the small grant of the Borough Council for such work, immense value is
received by these unfortunate and helpless little ones.

representatives from the various Centres attend, and also the Medical Officer of
Health. This Committee has had under consideration the outstanding matters in
connection with the work of the Centres. During the year it was decided that the
Centres would issue, at cost price (3s. 2d.), Maternity Outfits, that these would be
issued on the application of the doctor or midwife in attendance, and that the issue
