Illegitimate Births (207). The illegitimate births numbered 207 and
show a decrease of 42 on the return of the year 1928. They were equal to a rate
of 3.7 per cent, of the total registered births.
Notification of Births Act, 1907. 4.206 live births were notified (exclusive of 96 stillborn), or 76 per cent, of the total number that was registered during the year.
