The rate of progress achieved with tins scheme was not as great as had been anticipated
owing to prolonged spells of illness suffered during the year by the Rodent Operative
engaged in this work.
Complaints.
Apart from the Block Control Schemes, 369 complaints of rat or mice infestation
were received and investigated during 1951.
