Cleansing Station.
During the year 98 verminous persons, 96 men and 2 women, were cleansed at the
Council's Cleansing Station. 50 of the men were referred from Bruce House, Westminster,
and 25 from Parker House, Parker Street.
94 school children were cleansed at the Station under the agreement between the
Council and the London County Council, 94 being treated for head lice, and 12 in addition
for scabies.
