maternity and child welfare work.
Very full use was made of the facilities at the Maternity and Child Welfare
Centres in the Borough and it was found necessary, towards the end of the
Year, to increase the number of sessions. During the year there were registered
298 live births and 9 still births, giving a total of 307.
Home Visiting.

Table: It necessarily follows that, owing to the increased sessions at the Maternity and Child Welfare Centres, home visiting by the Health Visitors had to be curtailed to some extent. The visits paid were as follows: —
