To The Mayor, Aldermen and Councillors of the
Metropolitan Borough of Holborn
Your Worship, Ladies and Gentlemen,
Herewith I beg to present a report upon the health and sanitary conditions
of the Borough for the year 1934
The larger part of the work dealt with in this report was done while Dr Hutt
was in charge of the Public Health Department By his untimely death, Holborn
lost one who was whole-heartedly devoted to its service, and Preventive Medicine
one of its leaders and foremost exponents Personally I suffered the loss of one to
whose teaching and guidance I owed a great debt
