The question as to the best type of dust collecting vehicle is being borne in
mind; to secure first hand information for the Council the Mayor and Medical
Officer have arranged to visit cities on the Continent.
Removal of Manure.
The removal of manure from the various mews in the Borough was
satisfactorily carried out during the year. Again no complaint was received.
Sanitary Inspection of the District, including Premises and Occupations which can be
controlled by By-Laws and Regulations.
In addition to my inspections, the Sanitary Inspectors made 20,052 various
inspections and visits as set out in the following table Each inspection frequently
covers a number of different sanitary matters.
