Diphtheria.
Immunisation.
During the year 24 children were immunised against Diphtheria
by private doctors. Owing to the war the clinics were suspended and
did not reopen until the commencement of the year 1941.
Tuberculosis.
New Cases and Mortality during 1940.
During the year 1940, 96 new cases of Tuberculosis were notified,
86 being cases of Pulmonary Tuberculosis, and 10 of other formsof
the disease.
