not less than 40 grams of flock are thoroughly washed with distilled
water at a temperature below 25° C. the chlorine must not exceed 30
parts per 100,000 of flock.
There are no sellers of rag flock in the Borough, and only two
firms use rag flock for the purposes referred to above.
Schools.
In accordance with the requirements of the Public Health
(London) Act, 1936, the Head Teachers of Schools are promptly
informed of the occurrence of a case of notifiable infectious disease
whenever a child who is an inmate of a house in which a case has
occurred is found to be a scholar. This procedure is also applied to
Measles, which is a compulsorily notifiable disease in Hampstead.
