Infant Mortality.
During 1937, 55 infants under 1 year of age died, giving an
infant death rate of 54 per 1,000 live births. Of these 35 were
legitimate children, the rate per 1,000 legitimate live births being 38,
while 20 illegitimate children died, equivalent to a rate per 1,000
illegitimate live births of 202.
