Infant Mortality.
During 1935, 49 infants under 1 year of age died, giving an
infant death rate of 49 per 1,000 live births. Of these 33 were
legitimate children, the rate per 1,000 legitimate live births being 36,
while 16 illegitimate children died, equivalent to a rate per 1,000
illegitimate live births of 182.
