the Public Analyst is to watch such matters and where necessary to
call attention to any depreciation of quality or composition which may
appear to be to the prejudice of the health or pocket of the purchaser.
The total number of samples reported as adulterated was 17, which
is equivalent to 3 39 per cent, of those received.
