Public Mortuary, New End.
During the year, the bodies of 47 persons were brought to the
mortuary—1 by request of the Medical Officer of Health, 13 by the
Police and 33 at the request of friends. In 12 instances a postmortem
examination was made. The following table indicates the
cause of death of 47 persons whose bodies were received into the
Mortuary:—
