Deaths.
The total nett deaths during 1932 numbered 1,043, as compared
with 1,025 in the preceding year. These 1,043 nett deaths represent
a "recorded" death rate of 11.6 per 1,000 of the population. This
"recorded" death rate is the rate obtained by deducting from the total
deaths registered in Hampstead the number who were non-resident
persons, and, after subtracting these, adding the number of deaths of
Hampstead residents who died outside the Borough. The nett deaths
were distributed among the various Wards as follows:- No. 1 (Town)
137, No. 2 (Belsize) 181, No. 3 (Adelaide) 150, No. 4 (Central) 119,
No. 5 (West End) 143, No. 6 (Kilburn) 160, and No. 7 (Priory) 153.
