(e) Infant Mortality
The number of deaths of infants under one year of age
during the year was 41 giving an annual mortality rate per
1,000 live births of 22. This compares with the record rate
of 17 for last year.
(/) Maternal Mortality
Only one maternal death occurred during the year as against
one for the previous year, resulting in a death rate of 0.52
per 1,000 live and still-births.
