DIPHTHERIA IMMUNISATION.
The big drive to immunise all children in the Borough,
which was commenced in November, 1940, was continued
throughout 1941, and it is gratifying to report that there
has been a very large increase in the number of children
immunised, especially at the Council's Welfare Centres.
Fourteen L.C.C. Elementary Schools in the Borough
have now been approached with a view to obtaining the
parents' consents to the immunisation of their children.
The following are the particulars of the work carried out under the immunisation scheme during the year:—
