Anthrax.—No case of Anthrax was notified.
Hydrophobia.—No case was reported.
Rabies Order, 1919.—No case of Rabies in dogs
was reported in the Borough.
Glanders.—No case was reported.
Measles and German Measles.—One thousand eight
hundred and fifty-nine cases of Measles and German
Measles were notified against eighty-one in the previous
year.
Two hundred and ninety-eight cases were treated in the
Isolation Hospitals of the London County Council. Five
deaths were registered.
Whooping Cough.—One hundred and sixty-six cases
were reported, against three hundred and fourteen in the
previous year.
Four deaths were registered.
Forty-three cases were removed to hospital.
The homes of the patients were visited by your Lady
Inspector, and the parents advised as to the precautions
that should be taken.
Chicken Pox.—Four hundred and twenty-nine cases were
reported, against three hundred and fifty-three in the
previous year. Twenty-nine cases were removed to
hospital.
