or impetigo in which case the payment is at the rate of
Is. for each bath given.
The amount received from the London County Council
during the year was £234 16s. 0d. in respect of cleansings
and £27 11s. 0d. in respect of cases of scabies and impetigo.
The non-Hammersmith cases of scabies and verminous
conditions were dealt with, as the districts in which the
persons were resident have not provided medicinal baths.
A charge of two shillings in respect of each bath given was
made and paid by the responsible Authority.
Owing to the large numbers of Hammersmith cases dealt
with it was found to be impossible to carry on with the
above arrangements and the scheme was accordingly discontinued
in November.
VACCINATION.
The duties under the Vaccination Acts and the Vaccination
Order were carried out by the Public Health Department.

vaccinated, this being 63.8 per cent. of the Births and
compared with 68.0 per cent. in 1935.
No proceedings under the Vaccination Acts were instituted.
