Deaths of Aged Persons.—The corrected number of
deaths of residents at 65 years of age and upwards registered
during the year was 759, against 725 in the previous
year. These deaths were equal to 5.7 per 1,000 of the
total persons living, and 423 per 1,000 of the total deaths
of residents registered.
