The former are examined by Dr. Elworthy, Pathologist
of the West London Hospital, and the latter by Dr. Davies,
Assistant Medical Officer of Health and Tuberculosis
Officer.
Throat swabs and sputum containers are supplied free
on application to the Public Health Department to all
medical practitioners practising in the Borough.
In addition other bacteriological investigations are
undertaken when required.

"Parkside" Maternity Home, 150, Du Cane Road,
W.12.—This Home consists of a ten-bedded ward in the
Hammersmith Hospital for the reception of maternity
cases booked through the Hammersmith Borough Council.

Situation:—Du Cane Road, Shepherd's Bush, W.12.
Purpose:—General.
