In reply the Importers pointed out that the particular consignment from which the sample had been submitted was not intended for distribution in the United Kingdom and it had in fact been exported in total. The Importers, however, have been in touch with the suppliers of the product pointing out that any further consignments intended for distribution in the United Kingdom must comply with the Labelling of Food Order, 1953.
