103 104 105 106 107 108Instant Low-fat Milk, SkimmedEach sample consisted of Dried Skimmed Milk and respectively contained-mois-ture 6.2%, 14.2%, 6.1%, 6.4%, 6.3% and 7.5%. By Regulation 4 of the Dried Milk Regulations, 1965, this article should not contain more than 5% of moisture. The solubility of each sample was respectively 99.8%, 75%, 99.9%, 99.6%, 99.7% and 99.8%. In the Public Analyst's opinion the solubility of 75% in respect of sample No. 104 was so low as to render it unsuitable for ordinary use.Manufacturer informed of Public Analyst's findings and has surrendered the remainder of the stock from which samples were taken.
