I am singularly fortunate and my indebtedness to all my senior
colleagues is hereby gratefully acknowledged. My Deputy, Dr. M.
E. Watts, carries her considerable responsibilities willingly, cheerfully,
efficiently and with determination.
In conclusion, I trust the Council will feel that the resources
which they provide are being utilised under their instructions in
the best interest of the local residents.
