There has been an overall drop in the numbers of Verrucae,
since visits were paid to schools by the Council's Public Health
Inspectors for prophylaxis disinfection of floors against Verrucae.
The Physical Education staff at some of these schools have showed
interest in these preventive measures and have inspected the children's
feet as a routine prior to their taking part in swimming or other barefoot
activity.
