*Column 'A' refers to 7-plus routine medical inspections
†Column 'B' refers to 7-plus experimental scheme inspections
With regard to the comparison of defects noted at 7-plus
routine and 7-plus 'special' medical inspections, to some extent
the general local pattern is repeated in the Inner London Education
Authority area in respect of defects specifically recorded in that
experimental scheme, although there are some variables. Further
local knowledge of areas and social groups more adversely affected
than others would be useful.
