Immediately, all retail shops, wholesalers, office and works
canteens, hospital stores, etc., in the Borough were visited by the
Public Health Inspectors with the object of preventing the use or
distribution of tins so marked. As a result of this prompt action
some 136 tins were withdrawn and returned to the importers.
