MARRIAGES
Mrs. V. M. Gilham, the Superintendent Registrar of the
Greenwich Registration District,"has kindly furnished me with particulars
relating to the number of marriages solemnised or registered
in the Borough of Greenwich during 1963. The total of 688 gives
a marriage rate of 16.48, an increase of 0.38 over that of the previous
year. The comparable figure for England and Wales is 14.9
