NOTE:—Due to the industry's inability to install the necessary
apparatus for amylase testing in accordance with the Liquid
Egg (Pasteurisation) Regulations, 1963, in time to meet the
originally suggested date, the Ministry deferred the operative
date to 1st January, 1964.
Nevertheless, in anticipation of the operation of the
Regulations, samples were submitted to the amylase test
during the current year with the results given above.

by the National Albumen Advisory Committee set up by the
Ministry of Health. This process is undertaken at the premises
