Government, the Metropolitan Borough of Greenwich can take
pride that they are in control of a going concern and, in their own
field, have much to contribute.
Nothing would be possible without the active interest and
enthusiasm of the responsible committee and I am mindful of the
kindness they have shown to the staff and to me personally. The
Chairman and Vice-Chairman have been ever ready with their
support and I am grateful to them.
In conclusion I must pay tribute to the staff for their loyalty
and their efforts.
