MARRIAGES
Mrs V M Gilham, the Superintendent Registrar of the
Greenwich Registration District, has kindly furnished me with particulars
relating to the number of marriages solemnised or registered
in the Borough of Greenwich during 1962 The total of 680 gives
a marriage rate of 1610, a decrease of 003 from that of the previous
vear The comparable figure for England and Wales is 149
