supplied by Dr. Waldron the Divisional Medical Officer. I am
conscious too of my debt to the General Practitioners; to the Public
Health Laboratory Service; to the many voluntary organisations;
to the Geriatric Unit at St. Alfeges and also to the staff of the
Health Department who have shown me every loyalty and kindness.
I must end by recording my grateful thanks to my Chairman who
is forever vigilant, enthusiastic and encouraging, and to my ViceChairman
who has given great support at all times.
