MARRIAGES
Mr. J. Abercrombie, the Superintendent Registrar of the Greenwich
Registration District, has kindly furnished me with particulars
relating to the number of marriages solemnised or registered in the
Borough of Greenwich during 1957. The total of 682 gives a
marriage rate of 15.39, a decrease of 0.95 from that of the previous
year.

The following table shows these particulars giving the number of marriages in the Borough for each year since 1946 :—
