HOUSING.
Slum Clearance.—In continuance of the housing scheme
ten representations were made by your Medical Officer of Health
and submitted to the Council during the year. The number of
houses involved was sixty-nine.
Progress generally in regard to slum clearance since 1930 is
shown in the following table which gives the position at the end
of 1938.
