Toddlers' Clinic.—As has been previously stated, the closure
of the Borough Hall Centre and the consequent allocation of those
attending to other Centres, it has not been possible to extend the
scheme of supervision, except as far as home visiting is concerned.

A schedule is given below which indicates the condition of individual children at the various ages seen at the Centres during the year.

Comparative tables are shown in connection with the nutrition
of individual children attending the Centres for 1936 and 1937.
Tl may be noted that of the children in the 4/5 years age group
seen in 1936, 65% were assessed as sub-normal by the Maternity
and Child Welfare Medical Officer. The corresponding figure for
1937 is given as 44%, and making due allowance for a possible
error in the assessment of this condition it would appear that the
difference in the percentage must be significant.
