Handicraft Centre.—The Centre continues its good work,
thanks to the zeal of its able leader, Mr. Worlock.
The most important event of the year touching the activities
of the Centre, was the formation of the Tuberculosis Handicrafts
Centre Committee and the subsequent affiliation of the Centre
to the National Association for the Prevention of Tuberculosis.
The Committee consist of ten members, Mr. Worlock acts
as (Chairman), and the offices of Vic3-Chairman, Hon. Treasurer
and Hon. Secretary are held by Dr. Watson, Dr. W. Alcock and
Miss I. B. Mills respectively.
Included in the Committee are the Chairman of the Public
Health Committee, Councillor Mrs. F. Carter, and the Chairman of
the Maternity and Child Welfare Committee, Councillor Mrs. A.
Kennedy. The other members are Mrs. Dabin, Mrs. Scott, Dr. 0.
