The Health Visitors also visited 1,455 cases, and re-visited
when required.

The Ford van which has been in constant use since April,
1921, for carrying out the work of disinfection was replaced in
June by a new one ton flat-topped "Morris" chassis, which has
been fitted to take the existing removable bodies.
CLEANSING STATION, BLACKWALL LANE.
The Cleansing Station which forms part of the Disinfecting
premises was opened in June, 1924, and is situate at
Tunnel Avenue, Blackwall Lane, East Greenwich.
The arrangements made with the London County Council
for reserving the use of the Cleansing Station on Mondays
and Thursdays for the cleansing of verminous school children
continue in operation.
